Ingredients

9 cups crispix or corn chex cereal
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

How To Make muddy buddies aka puppy chow

Step 1

Pour the cereal into a large bowl.

Step 2

Place the chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter in a large bowl. Microwave on high for about 1 minute, then stir. Microwave another minute and then stir until smooth.
Step 3

Stir the vanilla into the peanut butter/butter mixture. Pour over the cereal and stir until evenly coated.
Step 4

Put the powdered sugar in a large clean paper sack or plastic bag. Pour the coated cereal mix into the bag and shake it all up until evenly coated.
