Ingredients

1/2 lbbutter, softened

1 cdark brown sugar

2eggs
-
1 tspbourbon vanilla (trader joes)

1 tsporange extract
-
1 Tbsporange zest (or dried peel)

3/4 cwhole wheat four
-
3/4 chazelnut meal (bolt's red mill....choices natural market or other organic food store)

1 tspbaking soda
-
1 tspcinnamon

3 crolled oats (thick cut)

1 ccranberries
-
1 cchopped walnuts
How to Make Lynn's Healthy Cranberry/orange Oatmeal Cookies
- Cream butter and sugar in mixer.
- Add eggs, vanilla, orange extract ~ beat thoroughly.
- Mix flours, baking soda, cinnamon, and orange zest together before adding to wet mixture ~ mix well.
- Stir in oats, cranberries and walnuts. Mix well.
- Drop by tablespoon size blobs onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake 10-12 minutes @ 350 degrees or until just golden brown.
- Cool 1 minute or so on cookie sheet.
- Eat and Enjoy!!!
