Jhaal moorhi or bhel poori is a street snack in many parts of India and changes its texture and ingredients across states. I am providing you the simplest of the form with the most basic ingredients. You will get this in abundance in Mumbai, the financial capital of India and also in most of Eastern Indian states. It’s healthy and weight watchers here do care for the snack quite a lot.

    tomato (chopped)

    cucumber (chopped)

    fresh cilantro (chopped)
  • 1 tsp
    olive oil, light

    salt to taste

How to Make Jhaal Moorhi / Bhel Poori (spicy puffed rice)


  1. Mix all ingredients in a big mixing bowl and enjoy jhaal moorhi anytime :)
  2. you might avoid the chilli part if you do not like it spicy
