This is a great way for diabetics to enjoy a popsicle treat on hot days. With all the flavors available, the possibilites are endless.

  • 1 pkg
    4 serving size sugar-free gelatin, flavor choice
  • 1 pkg
    2-qt size sugar-free powdered drink mix
  • 1 c
    boiling water
  • 7 c
    cold water

How to Make Homemade Popsicles for Diabetics


  1. In a 2-qt heatproof pitcher or mixing bowl, dissolve the gelatin mix in the boiling water; stir to dissolve gelatin completely. Add the powdered drink mix and stir again to dissolve. Add the cold water; stir well.
  2. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds or use small paper (bathroom size) cups with wooden popsicle sticks. Freeze until solid.
