This is a very quick, easy and delicious recipe. Enjoy it with yogurt or ice cream.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup almonds, slivered
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup craisins (dried cranberries)
  • 1/2 cup peanut or vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup honey or more if needed
  • - plain yogurt
  • - seedless raspberry or strawberry jam

How To Make homemade granola

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl, combine all the dry ingredients plus the honey and oil. Mix well.
  • Step 2
    Spread mixture on a large greased cookie sheet.
  • Step 3
    Bake at 250 degrees for 1/2 hour. Remove from oven and stir. Place back in over and bake for an addition 1/2 hour at 375 degrees. Remove from oven and let cool. Store granola in an airtight container.
  • Step 4
    Optional--serve granola in parfait glasses layered with granola, jam, yogurt or ice cream. Enjoy Enjoy! Enjoy! Enjoy! Enjoy!
