This is a very quick, easy and delicious recipe. Enjoy it with yogurt or ice cream.

  • 3 c
    rolled oats
  • 1/2 c
    chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 c
    chopped pecans
  • 1/2 c
    almonds, slivered
  • 1/2 c
  • 1/2 c
    craisins (dried cranberries)
  • 1/2 c
    peanut or vegetable oil
  • 1/2 c
    honey or more if needed
  • ·
    plain yogurt
  • ·
    seedless raspberry or strawberry jam

How to Make Homemade Granola


  1. In a large bowl, combine all the dry ingredients plus the honey and oil. Mix well.
  2. Spread mixture on a large greased cookie sheet.
  3. Bake at 250 degrees for 1/2 hour. Remove from oven and stir. Place back in over and bake for an addition 1/2 hour at 375 degrees. Remove from oven and let cool. Store granola in an airtight container.
  4. Optional--serve granola in parfait glasses layered with granola, jam, yogurt or ice cream.
