    applesauce, no sugar added
  • 1/4 c
    honey
  • 3 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    oil, canola or vegetable

How to Make Granola Bars

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 325, and line a 9 inch baking dish with foil, spray with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, add first 7 ingredients and mix. In a smaller bowl or glass measuring dish mix the next 5 ingredients and add to your dry mixture.
  3. Pour into baking dish and press. Bake in oven for 30 minutes, top will be brown.

Variations: omit oil, and add more applesauce; use peanuts, peanut butter and chocolate chips; use only one dried fruit of your liking or any varity of nuts. I like that these are not to sweet some may prefer to add more sugar. Do what your family likes.
