fruit w/chili and lime
(1 RATING)
I first had this when my family and I used to go to Baja CA,there were people on the street selling this and I fell in love with this simple snack. In Pasadena now there are several fruit vendors that sell the fruit, you get a huge container of fresh fruit for $5.00. Do not use plain chili powder,it's not the same. Look for the spice that says "for fruit",check at a Hispanic store if possible. This is more of a method than a recipe,it's soo good ! so refreshing !

How To Make fruit w/chili and lime
-
Step 1I like to make platters of each fruit so guests can choose which fruits they prefer. Chill. When ready to serve, each person can sprinkle with lime juice, salt and chili as much as you like.
