I have 8 grandchildren and 7 greatgrandchildren and another due in October..and I always bake several different cookies for the little darlings and I will now add this recipe to surprise them...and ooooh yes the adults as well.

Ingredients
- 1 cup peanut butter, crunchy not generic
- 1 - jar 7 ounce marshmallow cream
- 1 1/2 cups crisp rice cereal
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 4 teaspoons shortning or butter
How To Make crunchy peanut butter balls

Step 1In large bowl combine peanut butter and marshmallow creme add cereal and stir until well coated.

Step 2In small micro-safe little bowl combine chips and butter or shortening..micro uncovered and set for 1 to 2 minutes mix and heat until the chocolate is melted, stir until smooth.

Step 3Roll cereal into 1 to 2 inch balls..dip into chocolate and place on wax paper lined cookie sheet refrigerate until set...makes 2-1/2 dozen. the kids will love you..
