We had so many avocados, some going bad and I hated that. I was burnt out on them in salads and by them selves so I came up with this. Now I make them several times a week. We LOVE them. I also try different cheeses... yummm

- 2 - avocados
- - cheddar cheese
- - goat cheese
- - parmesan cheese
How To Make broiled avocados

Step 1Wash Avocado, cut in half, & remove the pit. Place in baking dish, sprinkle with salt, pepper and which ever seasonings you prefer. (I used fresh garlic & basil) Fill pit area with a chunk of cheese, half inch square, I used apple harvest cheddar, goat cheese, and then added Parmesan or Romono over entire avocado. Broil on high until cheese is golden brown, about 4 or 5 minutes. note: this does not cook the avocado, just browns the cheese...
