This is a fun treat for kiddos. I found it on the familyfun.go.com website a few years ago and have made it for several Halloweens. This is their photo also. The kids love to help make this.

How to Make Apple Bites

Step-by-Step

  1. Quarter and core an apple.
  2. Cut a wedge from the skin side of each quarter.
  3. Press slivered almonds in place for teeth.
  4. Tip: If you are not going to serve these immediately, baste the apple quarters with orange juice to keep them from browning.
  5. Another option is to spread peanut butter on the inside of the "mouth" then add the "teeth". Tasty...
