raw almonds (or pecans, peanuts or mixed nuts)
egg white
1 Tbsp
1 Tbsp
chili powder
2 tsp
cayenne pepper
2 Tbsp
garlic powder
1 Tbsp
3 tsp

How to Make Spicy Almonds


  • 1In a bowl, lightly beat egg white and water until foamy.
  • 2Add almonds and stir until all coated.
  • 3In another bowl, mix all spices. Add almonds and stir to coat.
  • 4Preheat oven to 250F. Place almonds on a baking sheet in one layer. Bake for 1 hour, stirring and re-layering the nuts every 15 minutes.
  • 5Loosen the almonds with spatula but leave on the baking sheet until cool.
  • 6Store in airtight container.
