Ingredients
- 1 large bag of raw chestnuts
- - water
How To Make roasting chestnuts

Step 1Set your oven for 425'F. Make a slice along the round mounded edge of each chestnut. Make sure you cut right through the shell.

Step 2Put them in a saucepan and cover with water.

Step 3Bring to a simmer.

Step 4Remove from the pot and put into a heat proof dish.

Step 5Bake for 15 minutes.

Step 6Put in a towel and leave for 15 minutes so the steam can help soften the chestnuts.
