praline coated pecans

This recipe was in a Church Cookbook that I put together as a fundraiser when my kids were in junior high. It was submitted by a good friend of mine.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 1/2 cups pecan halves

How To Make praline coated pecans

  • Step 1
    In saucepan over medium heat combine both sugars & sour cream. Bring to a boil stirring constantly until it reaches soft ball stage.
  • Step 2
    Add Pecans and stir gently until all are well coated.
  • Step 3
    Pour on a waxed paper lined cookie sheet and separate nuts with a fork. Let cool and store in an air tight container.
