This is a little more work than most of the other Chex Mix recipes but it's the one I know. I love all these spices, especially Beau Monde it is one of my favorite spice blends. This is a very flavorful nuts & bolts. You'll be sure to make it year after year for your family & friends.

1/2 tspgarlic powder

1 tspcayenne pepper

1 Tbspparsley flakes

CEREALS

1 boxcherrios

1 boxrice chex

1 boxcorn chex

1 boxwheat chex

NUTS
-
2 csalted peanuts (we like the red skinned)

1 ccashews, salted
-
1 cpecans

2 cmixed nuts

SNACKS

1 bag(s)bugles

1 bag(s)pretzel sticks

1 lbbutter or margarine
How to Make Nuts and Bolts
- Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Melt butter and add spices. Pour over dry ingredients and mix well. Put into shallow baking pan. Bake for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
Or, add all dry ingredients into a roasting pan & then pour melted butter w/seasonings over mixture. Stir well & about every 20 minutes to 1/2 hour. For about 2 hrs....leave lid off for mixture to dry and then store into an airtight container.
