- 1 pound pecans, halved
- 1 tablespoon packed dark brown sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt,sea salt can be used
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, extra virgin
How To Make mississippi spiced pecans

Step 1Preheat oven to 350*F.

Step 2Spread pecans on a lrg. baking sheet.Roast until fragrant,10-12 min.Watch carefully the burn easy!

Step 3Combine br sugar,salt,thyme,rosemary,pepper and cayenne in a small bowl. Transfer the warm pecans to a lrg. bowl,drizzle with oil and toss well to coat cmpletely.Sprinkle with the spice mixture and toss well again.

Step 4Serve warm or let cool completely and store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
