This healthy trail mix was given to me by a friend who used it for a 4H cooking show-- I have loved it ever since. I like that there is no granola in it.

Ingredients
- 1 cup whole almonds
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 2 cups small pretzels
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 - egg white
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
How To Make cranberry trail mix

Step 1Preheat oven to 350

Step 2Spread almonds evenly on an ungreased baking sheet.

Step 3Bake 7*10 minutes or until nuts are slightly darker in color. Cool completely in pan.

Step 4Reduce oven temperature to 225*

Step 5In a large bowl, combine almonds, cranberries, & pretzels.

Step 6In a small bowl, beat egg white until foamy. Pour over pretzel mixture. Toss until well coated.

Step 7In another small bowl combine remaining ingredients. Sprinkle over pretzel mixture and toss till well coated.

Step 8Spread evenly on a greased baking sheet. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool completely on pan. Store in an airtight container
