  • 3 cups white flour
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup margarine or lard/margarine combination
  • 1 - egg
  • Enough - milk to make 1 cup

How To Make wheat crackers

  • Step 1
    Mix to Form a Ball.
  • Step 2
    Knead lightly,About 20 strokes
  • Step 3
    Preheat oven 425'
  • Step 4
    Divide dough into 4 parts
  • Step 5
    Roll out thinly on floured board or surface
  • Step 6
    Place on Greased Cookie sheets
  • Step 7
    Cut with Pie Crimper or Pizza Cutter to desired Cracker Size
  • Step 8
    Prick dough all over
  • Step 9
    Sprinkle with Salt
  • Step 10
    Bake 7-10 minutes or until lightly browned
  • Step 11
    Options: Increase proportion of whole wheat flour to white
  • Step 12
    Add 1/4 Cup of Wheat Germ
