We LOVE these super simple crackers! To keep them handy for snacking, I try to make them once a week. I use only 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper because we don't like them to be too spicy.

Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 package ranch dressing mix
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 box whole grain saltines
How To Make uncle john's spiced crackers

Step 1Open crackers into large, lidded container, such as a one gallon jar or a 32 cup bowl.

Step 2Mix all spices and dressing mix together in a small bowl. Add oil and mix together.

Step 3Pour spiced oil over crackers. Put lid on container and gently roll every 15 minutes for 2 hours to evenly coat crackers.

Step 4Remove crackers to clean container. Will keep in air tight container for 6 weeks, but they'll be eaten before then!
