loni's cabbage casserole
(1 RATING)
Loni was a member of the Licorice gang. When it was her turn to have the dinner and card game at her house this was one of the many wonderful dishes she make. It's one of my very favorties. I love cabbage so it's not hard to please me.

How To Make loni's cabbage casserole
-
Step 1Melt half the butter in a large skillet. Place the onions and green pepper, (you can use a all the different colored peppers as I do) and cook slowly until delicately brown. Add the cabbage to the skillet and brown lightly. Salt and pepper to taste. Place the mixture in a lightly buttered casserole dish. Add the stewed tomatoes on top. Then add the crushed crackers on top and dot with the rest of the butter. Bake at 350* for an hour.
