cornbread crackers
I came up with this recipe when I was fixing a pot of chili. We love cornbread with chili and other soups, so why not try cornbread crackers. They came out great!

Ingredients
- 2 cups yellow cornmeal
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- shredded cheese
- spreadable butter
How To Make cornbread crackers

Step 1Mix together the cornmeal, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the remaining ingredients and combine well.

Step 2Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Grease a 9x12 sheet pan. Pour the batter in the center and wet one hand to press the batter out into an even layer in the pan. Sprinkle a little shredded cheese over the top then bake for 20 minutes.

Step 3Remove and spread a little butter over the top. Allow to cool then cut up into crackers. Store in an airtight container.
