You can dress this recipe up or down by displaying the Grilled breads around the bowl in a creative way.
This is so different from any hummus you have ever had! It is wonderful.... and people will ask for the recipe and request you bring this to gatherings!
I served this at a grilling out dinner party and it was a hit with the breads....
serves3 1/2 cups
prep time3 Hr 15 Min
cannellini beans (drained)
fresh garlic (minced fine)
olive oil, extra virgin
lemon juice, fresh
ground black pepper
lemon, zest (just the yellow part of the peel)
toasted seseme seeds
How To Make
Using a blender or food processor: Put in anchovies,
beans and all liquids in blender or food processor. When it gets mashed and blended, add the remaining ingredients.
(you can add extra Greek yogurt if need for desired consistancy...
Place in air tight container and refrigerate 3 or more hours for this to chill and flavors to meld together. (This is good for about 3 days).
*** Serve with fire grilled pita bread triangles, grilled garlic bread, (or pita chips).
