cannellini hummus dip for grilled breads !

You can dress this recipe up or down by displaying the Grilled breads around the bowl in a creative way. This is so different from any hummus you have ever had! It is wonderful.... and people will ask for the recipe and request you bring this to gatherings! I served this at a grilling out dinner party and it was a hit with the breads....

Ingredients

  • 1 small can anchovies
  • 2 cans cannellini beans (drained)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic (minced fine)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil, extra virgin
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice, fresh
  • 1/2 cup greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 medium lemon, zest (just the yellow part of the peel)
  • 2 tablespoons toasted seseme seeds

How To Make cannellini hummus dip for grilled breads !

  • Step 1
    Using a blender or food processor: Put in anchovies,
  • Step 2
    beans and all liquids in blender or food processor. When it gets mashed and blended, add the remaining ingredients.
  • Step 3
    (you can add extra Greek yogurt if need for desired consistancy...
  • Step 4
    Place in air tight container and refrigerate 3 or more hours for this to chill and flavors to meld together. (This is good for about 3 days).
  • Step 5
