Homemade BBQ Potato Chips
If you have never eaten homemade potato chips that are still warm, man you don't know what you are missing.
How to Make Homemade BBQ Potato Chips
- 1wash and scrub potatoes. then slice thin with a mandolin if you have one, about 1/8 of an inch thick. soak the potato slices in ice water for 30 mins to remove the starch. remove from water and pat dry.
- 2mix all the seasonings.
- 3deep fry in batches. flip them a lot to brown both sides. cook for 3-4 mins per batch. remove from oil onto a paper toweled plate just for a few seconds then transfer to a bowl and add some of the seasoning and toss while still hot until evenly coated. rinse and repeat until all potatoes have cooked.
