fresh & chunky guacamole
This is my take on a recipe from Ina Garten (The Barefoot Contessa). You can whip this up in under 5 minutes...great for a quick but delicious addition to your snack repertoire!

Ingredients
- 4 - ripe haas avocados,
- 3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 8 dashes tobasco sauce
- 1/2 cup red onion, diced finely
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 - small tomato, seeded and diced finely
- 1/3 cup fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
- 1 - serrano chile pepper, finely minced
How To Make fresh & chunky guacamole

Step 1Cut avocados in half, remove pit and scoop flesh into a large bowl.

Step 2Add lemon juice, tobasco sauce, onion, garlic, salt and pepper. Stir until all ingredients are combined well. (If you are including the optional ingredients I listed, now is the time to incorporate them.)

Step 3Using a large, sharp knife, slice through avocado mixture until the mixture is medium-sized chunks. Sprinkle in diced tomato and stir through. Serve.
