I was in a Cardiac Nutrition Class this bean dip is heart smart and was made one day by a young lady who was teaching the class to eat right.She gave us the recipe.My husband and I really liked it so much, I want to share this with all of you.

  • 1
    can 15oz. black beans ( drianed)
  • 1/2 cup
    salas ( the one you like)
  • 1/2 cup
    plain fat free yogurt
  • 1/4 tsp.
  • 2 Tbsp.
    chopped fresh cilantro

How to Make Bean Dip


  1. Preparation: Place black beans and salsa in a blender and puree until smooth.Spoon dip into a bowl. Stir in yogurt, cumin and cilantro.Ready to eat!
  2. This simple, fat free appetizer works well with fat free sour cream, too.
    Serve with baked chips or cut veggies.
  3. Per Serving (1/4 cup):Calories from Fat 0, Cholesterol 0,Sodium 190mg, Carbohydrate 9g, Fiber 2.6g,Protein 3.1g
