baked lime tortilla chips
Got this from another recipe site and needed to have this here for reference. I bake these all of the time as they are healthy and cheap to make!

Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons coarse sea salt
- 1 - lime, juiced
- 9 - whole small white corn tortilla shells
- 6 tablespoons warmed bacon fat or olive oil
How To Make baked lime tortilla chips
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 350. Place salt in small bowl and juice from lime (about 1/4 cup).
-
Step 2Brush both sides of the whole tortillas with the bacon fat. Cut into fourths (or how small you want them). Place on metal pan and brush with the lime/salt mixture. Don't overlap the tortillas. Bake 10-14 minutes, turning over halfway through. Repeat with the remaining tortillas.
-
Step 3You can season to your own liking, using more or less salt in the lime mixture (if any at all). I have also used olive oil instead of the bacon grease and it works just fine.
