Every Thanksgiving I like to make this. It is definitely my favorite casserole recipe!The touch of horseradish gives it just enough zing! NOTE: You may use frozen broccoli for a quicker prep time. I believe the original recipe called for it but I prefer fresh. Also, the crackers I use are either Ritz or Townhouse.

Ingredients
- 2 - heads of fresh broccoli
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 - egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon horseradish
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2 cup cracker crumbs
How To Make zesty brocolli casserole

Step 1Cook fresh broccoli.Drain. Cut up and set aside. In small bowl mix together mushroom soup, cheese, beaten egg, milk, mayonnaise and horseradish. Toss in broccoli and mix well.

Step 2Pour into buttered 1 1/2 qt. casserole dish. Crush crackers and sprinkle over casserole. Drizzle with melted butter.

Step 3Bake for 45 minutes.
