Every Thanksgiving I like to make this. It is definitely my favorite casserole recipe!The touch of horseradish gives it just enough zing! NOTE: You may use frozen broccoli for a quicker prep time. I believe the original recipe called for it but I prefer fresh. Also, the crackers I use are either Ritz or Townhouse.

Ingredients For zesty brocolli casserole

2heads of fresh broccoli

1 cancream of mushroom soup

1 1/2 ccheddar cheese, shredded

1egg, beaten
-
1/4 cmilk
-
1/4 cmayonnaise
-
1 Tbsphorseradish
-
2 Tbspbutter, melted

1/2 ccracker crumbs
How To Make zesty brocolli casserole

1Cook fresh broccoli.Drain. Cut up and set aside. In small bowl mix together mushroom soup, cheese, beaten egg, milk, mayonnaise and horseradish. Toss in broccoli and mix well.

2Pour into buttered 1 1/2 qt. casserole dish. Crush crackers and sprinkle over casserole. Drizzle with melted butter.

3Bake for 45 minutes.
