This is a simple way of doing Asparagus.It could easily become your favorite way to prepare asparagus. I found this recipe in an old news pepper.I added the lemon to the recipe. I hope you like it.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb
    asparagus, trimmed
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    coarsley ground blak pepper
  • 1 tsp
    freashly grated lemon peel
  • 6 pkg
    lemon wedeges

How to Make Zelda's Roasted Asparagus

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. In a large roasting pan, toss asparagus, oil, salt, and pepper until coated. Roast asparagus, shaking pan occasionally, until tender and lightly browned, about 20 minutes. Sprinkle with grated lemon peel, and serve with lemon wedges.
