  • 1 can(s)
    ( about 15 oz.)..chick-peas, rinsed, and drained
  • 2 Tbsp
    tahini...please no substutes!.. it is a must with this recipe!
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh lemon juice
  • 1 clove
  • 3/4 Tbsp
  • 1
    fresh tomato, finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    chopped fresh parsley
  • ·
    pita bread wedges or assorted crackers

How to Make .VEGATABLE-TOPPED HUMMUS..appetizer


  1. 1....Place chick peas, tahini,lemon juice and salt in a chopper or blender, process till smooth.
    Set aside.
    2....Combine tomato, onions,and parsley in a small bowl.
    Place reserved bean mixture in a medium serving bowl.
    Spoon tomato mixture evenly over top.
    Serve with crackers or pita bread wedges.
