tuna and veggie wrap

This is a recipe that can be put together in a snap..healthy and delicious!

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces can tuna in water, well drained
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise, fat-free
  • 1/2 - a finely chopped red onion
  • 1/2 - a finely zested lemon
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 7 ounces baby spinach leaves, stems removed
  • 1 large grated carrot
  • 2 medium diced tomatoes
  • 8 large tortillas or bread wraps

How To Make tuna and veggie wrap

  • Step 1
    Combine tuna, mayonnaise, onion, lemon juice and zest in a bowl. Mix well ,until blended
  • Step 2
    Put a good amount of the spinach leaves, some carrot and tomato pieces in the center of each tortilla or wrap. Place equal amount of tuna mixture on top. Fold in edges and cut in half and place on plate. use string or toothpicks to hold together.
