A wild tomato grew in my yard, Turned out it was Roma tomatoes (apparently threw one out that had gone bad.)I needed a recipe to use them after canning what I wanted, so came up with this one.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sliced roma tomatoes
  • 1 dash garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

How To Make tomatoes italiano

  • Step 1
    Place sliced tomatoes in a shallow baking pan. Sprinkle the remaining ingredients on the tomatoes in the order listed. Place under broiler or in oven (400 degrees F) for just a few minutes, until cheese is golden.
