3 slicebread,toasted, buttered, & cubed
1 cpanko bread crumbs, or fresh bread crumbs
1/4 cmelted butter( 1/2 stick)
1 Tbspdried parsley flakes
·dash of salt
6 Tbspbrown sugar
2 largecans diced tomatoes
3green onions, chopped
How to Make TOMATO PUDDING
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9X13X 2 inch casserole dish. Add toasted bread cubes. Sprinkle with dash of salt.
- Mix brown sugar with diced tomatoes, chopped green onions and nutmeg in medium size bowl. Stir and pour over toasted bread cubes. Mix bread crumbs with melted butter and parsley flakes, then sprinkle over top of tomatoes.
- Cover and bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees F. for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
