My father-in-law grew veggies in his yard in Haliburton, Ontario. He served yummy cucumbers as a side dish to whatever main dish was on the table, lunch & dinner. Everyone loved them. A healthy, no fat, extremely low calorie, low cost, dish...and vinegar is good for you! You can serve for 1 person or many by mixing a vinegar/water ratio 1:1, or adjust to your taste. If you want more flavour, add more vinegar. For milder palate use more water. Enjoy!

    cucumber, sliced
  • 3/4 c
    white vinegar
  • 3/4 c
    water

How To Make

    Slice cucumber.

    Mix vinegar and water in a bowl.

    Add cucumbers to vinegar mix and let marinate as you prepare dinner. You can make ahead of time & refrigerate till ready to serve.
