Ingredients
- 1.3 pounds sauerkraut
- 1 - onion
- 1 tablespoon oil or butter
- - salt or spices
How To Make swiss style sauerkraut

Step 1Put one tablespoon of oil or butter in a pot

Step 2Cut the onion into small pieces and put it in the pot too

Step 3Add the sauerkraut

Step 4Add some salt or spices Heat up, then reduce heat and stew for about 60 to 90 minutes, move the sauerkraut from time to time

Step 5Add some water if necessary.

Step 6If you wish to serve potatoes and/or meat with the sauerkraut, cook it in the same pot.
