Swiss Style Sauerkraut
How to Make Swiss Style Sauerkraut
- Put one tablespoon of oil or butter in a pot
- Cut the onion into small pieces and put it in the pot too
- Add the sauerkraut
- Add some salt or spices
Heat up, then reduce heat and stew for about 60 to 90 minutes, move the sauerkraut from time to time
- Add some water if necessary.
- If you wish to serve potatoes and/or meat with the sauerkraut, cook it in the same pot.
