    frozen turnip greens
  • 2 Tbsp
    apple cider vinegar
  • 4 Tbsp
    dark brown sugar
  • 3/4 c
    sultanas (yellow raisins)
  • 1 Tbsp
    chopped garlic
  • 1 pinch
    paprika, hot
  • 1 pinch
    sea salt
  • ·
    olive oil, extra virgin

How to Make Sweet Gypsy Turnip Greens

Step-by-Step

  1. Sauteed frozen greens in olive oil on med high heat until totally thawed.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients, stir until brown sugar in melted.
  3. Cover and lowered heat to low. Stirring occasionally, cook for 15 minutes or more as you finish the rest of your meal.
  4. Enjoy! Best served with savory meats; the acidity from this dish cuts through the richness in such a combination.
