I tried this last year at a baby shower for my God Daughter & LOVED it! Great treat during the hot Texas Summers...but I love it no matter what day of the season! ENJOY!

Ingredients
- 2 - heads of broccoli
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 - red onion, chopped & amount to desired taste
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1 package bacon bits
- 1 cup raisins
How To Make summer-time broccoli salad

Step 1NOTE: THIS RECIPE SHOULD BE MADE THE NIGHT BEFORE YOU WISH TO SERVE IT.

Step 2Cut broccoli florets into bite size pieces. Add pecans, red onion, bacon bits & raisins. Mix well & set aside.

Step 3In a separate bowl, mix mayo, sugar & red wine vinegar together until well blended.

Step 4Add mayo mixture to your broccoli mixture & blend well with a wooden spoon.

Step 5Once blended, place entire salad in a storage container & place in the frig over night. Serve the following day.
