I like to toss hot carrots with citrus and dill. Using straight orange juice and ride yields great results - but I confess to switching to lemon or lime according to what I have in the refrigerator. It can be on the table in ten minutes

- 1 1/2 pounds baby carrots, trimmed (4 cups)
- 1 tablespoon butter, cut into pieces (can use vegetarian substitute)
- 4 tablespoons orange juice (or line or lemon - or mix)
- 2 teaspoons fresh zest from citrus of your choice
- 2 teaspoons dried dill
How To Make steamed baby carrots with citrus dill butter

Step 1Place carrots in a steamer basket fitted in a large pot; steam over simmering water 7-9 minutes, or until just tender

Step 2Transfer carrots to large bowl, and toss with orange juice, butter, zest, and dill.
