Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh spinach, washed and stemmed
- 1 tablespoon ghee
- 2 teaspoons ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- 2 pinches asafetida
- 3 tablespoons water
- 2/3 cup sour cream
- 8 ounces paneer, cubed
- 1 teaspoon kosher-type salt
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
How To Make spinach and paneer in a cream sauce

Step 1Chop the washed and drained spinach into small pieces. Heat the ghee in a saucepan over medium heat and fry the powdered spices for a moment to bring out the oils.

Step 2Place the chopped spinach into the saucepan with 3 tbsp. of water. Cover and gently cook until the spinach is tender - approx. 10 minutes.

Step 3Fold in the sour cream and the cubes of paneer. Add the salt and sugar, stir well. Continue cooking on low heat for approx. 5 minutes.
