Ingredients

  • 1 c
    water
  • 1 tsp
    sugar
  • 3
    (10 ounce) packages frozen snow peas
  • 1
    (8 ounce) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
  • 1/4 c
    orange liqueur
  • 5 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 pinch
    red pepper flakes to taste
  • 1 small
    cucumber jullianned for garnish

How to Make SNOW PEAS FLAMBE

Step-by-Step

  1. Bring 1 cup water to a boil and add the sugar.
  2. Drop in snow peas and cook until barely tender, drain and return to pan.
  3. Add the water chestnuts, liqueur, butter and salt.
  4. Cook over medium-low heat until heated through.
