Ingredients

  • 2
    small zucchini, yellow crookneck, patty pan or combination
  • pinch
    dried dill weed
  • sprinkle
    salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    butter (optional)

How to Make Simply Summer Squash

Step-by-Step

  1. Cut up squash into chunks or slices and put in a microwave safe dish with a lid.
  2. Sprinkle with dill weed & salt. Dot with butter.
  3. Cover & microwave on high for about 5 minutes, stirring halfway through. Check for doneness & add more time if needed. Squash will continue to cook a bit if allowed to rest undisturbed.
