This is such a simple dish, but so favorable.

I’ve done this with fresh green beans as well, and it’s equally delicious.
Here’s how:

Clean 1 pound of fresh green beans. Bring a pot of water to a boil, salt the water and blanch them for about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Remove them and put them in a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking. Drain them and mix with the mustard. And sauté them for about 2 to 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

How to Make Side car Sally’s corn

Step-by-Step

  1. In a frying pan melt the butter to the light brown stage.
  2. While the butter is getting brown mix the mustard and corn together.
  3. Add the corn to the pan and sauté on a medium heat till all of butter has been absorbed into the corn. Stir this often.
  4. You’ll know when the corn is ready because you will no longer see any liquid on the bottom of the pan.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
