Side car Sally’s corn

Irisa Raina 9

This is such a simple dish, but so favorable.

I’ve done this with fresh green beans as well, and it’s equally delicious.
Here’s how:

Clean 1 pound of fresh green beans. Bring a pot of water to a boil, salt the water and blanch them for about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Remove them and put them in a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking. Drain them and mix with the mustard. And sauté them for about 2 to 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

1 ~ 16 ounce bag frozen corn
2 & ½ to 3 tablespoons bold mustard “ i used my honey mustard recipe here on jap”
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
sea salt & fresh ground pepper to taste

1In a frying pan melt the butter to the light brown stage.
2While the butter is getting brown mix the mustard and corn together.
3Add the corn to the pan and sauté on a medium heat till all of butter has been absorbed into the corn. Stir this often.
4You’ll know when the corn is ready because you will no longer see any liquid on the bottom of the pan.
5Season with salt and pepper to taste.
