My husband and I love sauteed spinach and my daughter loves loves loves mushrooms. I made this to please us all. It is so delicious!

Ingredients

  • 8 oz
    cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • ·
    salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp
    white sugar
  • 3-4 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1
    bag of baby spinach

How to Make Sauteed Spinach & Mushrooms

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and then add sliced mushrooms. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Saute for 3-4 minutes until the mushrooms start to soften.
  2. Sprinkle the sugar over the mushrooms. Add the garlic and cook for about 1 minute. Add the spinach and cook until wilted. Note: You may need to add the spinach in batches depending on the size of your pan.
  3. Serve.
