My husband and I love sauteed spinach and my daughter loves loves loves mushrooms. I made this to please us all. It is so delicious!

8 oz
cremini mushrooms, sliced
1 Tbsp
olive oil
salt and pepper
1 tsp
white sugar
3-4 clove
garlic, minced
bag of baby spinach

How to Make Sauteed Spinach & Mushrooms


  • 1Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and then add sliced mushrooms. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Saute for 3-4 minutes until the mushrooms start to soften.
  • 2Sprinkle the sugar over the mushrooms. Add the garlic and cook for about 1 minute. Add the spinach and cook until wilted. Note: You may need to add the spinach in batches depending on the size of your pan.
  • 3Serve.
