I love spinach and mushrooms so this recipe is the perfect way to combine them in a delicious side dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 small container of fresh button mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 large bag of fresh spinach
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese

How To Make sautéed mushrooms with spinach

  • Step 1
    Prepare the mushrooms by wiping gently with a damp paper towel to remove any dirt that may be on them; do not rinse them in water. Slice the mushrooms.
  • Step 2
    Heat butter in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add mushrooms and garlic; cook and stir until mushrooms are tender. Reduce heat to medium.
  • Step 3
    Add spinach; cook and stir 5 minutes or until spinach is wilted but still bright green.
  • Step 4
    Season with in salt and pepper; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.
