My husband's grandmother intoduced me to squash and this is the only way I really like it. A simple side veggie dish but I could eat the whole thing by myself!

Ingredients

Add to Grocery List

  • 5-6 medium
    squash, fresh
  • 4 Tbsp
    butter
  • 2-3 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1/2-1 c
    milk
  • liberal dash(es)
    salt and pepper

How to Make Sandy's Squash

Step-by-Step

  1. Dice squash into thick chunks and throw into pan. Add olive oil and butter,salt and pepper. Cook on med-high for about 5-6 minutes.
  2. Add milk and simmer for another 5-10 minutes. *(I like my squash firm so I don't cook as long, so whatever you prefer.)
  3. Enjoy!
