Ingredients
- 1 pound carrots
- 1 pound parsnips
- 1 pound turnips
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
How To Make roasted root vegetables

Step 1Preheat oven to 400F, (200C or Gas Mark 6) Peel and cut the vegetables into 1/2 inch cubes. **sometimes I will use beets and sweet potatoes too.

Step 2Heat oil in a pan and quickly fry the vegetables until just coloured.

Step 3Transfer to a roasting dish, drizzle over the honey, toss to coat evenly. Roast in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until tender and well glazed. Toss frequently during the cooking to prevent the honey from burning.
