Perfect for a cocktail party, brunch, luncheon or even alongside a steak at dinner. This is a very economical side dish. These mushrooms are juicy with a crunchy top. Garlic butter and bread crumbs add to the flavor. Definitely have a fork ready when you dig in!

Ingredients
- 16 - even-sized open cap mushrooms, stems cut level
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil or corn oil
- 1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped very fine
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
- - salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
How To Make roasted garlic mushrooms

Step 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cut stems level to the mushroom cap.

Step 2Lightly fry the mushrooms, cap-side down, in hot oil for 20 seconds.

Step 3Arrange the mushrooms in a shallow roasting pan with stems facing upwards.

Step 4Mix together the butter, garlic, thyme, lemon juice, and seasoning.

Step 5Spoon a little garlic butter on to each mushroom.

Step 6Then lightly press the bread crumbs on top.

Step 7Cook immediately in the oven for 10 minutes. Serve and enjoy.
