overnight sauerkraut salad
This is a perfect holiday dish with Pork dishes and also is a pefect salad for summer picnics because it has no mayo in it. It goes greaat with hot dogs and brats too. It was given to me by a very dear friend of my husband's.

Ingredients
- 1 pound can sauerkraut, drained well
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup green peppers, chopped
- 1/4 cup onions, chopped
- 3 tablespoons white vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
- 3 tablespoons pimentos, chopped
How To Make overnight sauerkraut salad

Step 1Drain sauerkraut 15 minutes, then cut up with kitchen scissors into 1 inch pieces.

Step 2Place in a large bowl, add remaining ingredients, stir well, cover and refridgerate overnight before serving.
