    pounds of fresh asparagus
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 3
    garlic cloves minced
  • 3/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    freshly groung black pepper
  • 1/2 c
    slivered almonds

How To Make oven-roasted asparagus

    Snap off and discard tough ends of asparagas; place asparagus on a lightly greased baking sheet. Drizzle evenly with olive oil; sprinkle evenly with garlic, salt, and pepper.

    Bake at 350 F. for 10 minutes or to desired degree of tenderness. Transfer asparagas to a serving dish, sprinkle with almonds.
