Home alone this weekend,and craving Okra or lady finger,which is messy initially to prepare,but once you learn the trick,it is easy as.Okra is readily available in Dubai and they are cheap as chips.I normally clean and flash freeze before bagging them in portion size zip lock freezer bags.This recipe is simple but very flavorful.

Ingredients
- 500 grams okra, fresh chopped
- 2 medium chilies, green sliced vertically
- 3 tablespoons grapeseed oil /canola
- 1 teaspoon coriander seeds, ground
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, ground
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric , ground
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 - curry leaves
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice, fresh
How To Make okra/lady finger

Step 1wash and wipe dry okra/lady finger thoroughly using a tea towel.

Step 2chop/slice

Step 3heat oil in heavy frying pan with lid.

Step 4add curry leaves.

Step 5stir in the spices.

Step 6lower heat and allow to cook for 10 minutes, stirring continually.

Step 7serve okra/lady finger with flat bread and a side of fresh yogurt.

Step 8Note Okra/lady finger emits a sticky substance when it comes into contact with water — therefore always wash and dry thoroughly before chopping. Avoid adding water to the cooking process,always cover the frying pan for a few minutes when cooking.
