mozzarella spaghetti squash casserole
This dish is smothered in mozzarella, though not included in picture. I have served this as a main dish, as well, by adding lamb chunks and wine. Read recipe and enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1 - spaghetti squash
- - oil for roasting
- 1 teaspoon season salt for each half
- 1/4 stick butter, cut in pieces
- 1 tablespoon ground oregano
- 1 tablespoon italian seasoning
- - white pepper to taste
- 1 pound shredded mozzarella
How To Make mozzarella spaghetti squash casserole

Step 1Take squash and cut in half. Remove seeds.

Step 2Rub squash with oil and sprinkle on season salt.

Step 3Place in oven at 400F until tender.

Step 4Allow to cool until able to be handled, with shred inside with a fork. Place all innards in the greased, square casserole dish.

Step 5Add the butter and the seasoning. (I took a picture at this point and the finished picture did not save. I wasn't aware of this until it was eaten.)

Step 6The sprinkle on cheese very thickly. Place in oven at 350F on the cheese is bubbling and achieving a golden brown.
