Simple, extremely tasty, so easy, and impossible to resist.

You won't need to add salt to this at all. between the bacon and the ham stock you'll have enough salt

  • 1 lb
    fresh green beans
  • 4 slice
    raw bacon, diced
  • 2 Tbsp
    dried minced onion
  • 1 Tbsp
    dried dill weed
  • 1/4 c
    ham stock (or water)
  • 1 Tbsp

How to Make Mouthwatering Microwave Greenbeans


  1. rinse greenbeans, snap off the stems and break into smaller pieces. Put in a microwave safe covered dish (1 qt corningware dish with lid works for me)
  2. dice bacon and mix in with the raw greenbeans, then sprinkle the dried minced onion and dill weed over the greenbeans. Add the ham stock (or water) and the pat of butter and cover
  3. microwave on high for 20 minutes.
